Raychem Wire & Cable Building Landscape Redwood City, CA

When management first approached us to provide an outdoor eating area for their employees, the site consisted of a concrete building facade 350 feet long that faced a large parking lot. Employees frequently walked along the front of the building as they went from one building to another throughout the day.

We convinced them to let us extend the landscaping to provide a safer and more pleasant experience for employees walking between the bulidings. Upscale paving defined the pedestrian area, concrete bollards separated them from vehicular traffic, and additional landscaping made the experience more pleasant.

Two mature willow trees provided an anchor for the eating area, which was further separated from the parking lot by a planted berm and additional trees. New outdoor furniture completed a pleasant area for employee breaks and recreation.
